Graduate School

The Graduate School at UMSL promotes scholarship and creativity through programs that inspire a passion for discoveries. As a public metropolitan research university, our faculty engage with students to meet the challenges of rapidly changing local, regional, and global contexts. Graduate students make up over 20% of the UMSL student body. They study in one of our 30 master's and 14 doctoral degree programs, or the wide variety of graduate certificates.

The Graduate School offers tuition scholarships for graduate research and teaching assistants as well as fellowships to recruit top students, diversify the graduate student body, travel to conferences, and support dissertation studies. Support for the Graduate School's fellowship programs will allow UMSL to continue to attract and retain the best and brightest diverse graduate students and their faculty advisors.

Your support will advance UMSL’s Graduate School as a leader in professional workforce development locally, in Missouri, and nationwide.
