Joint Undergraduate Engineering Program

The Joint Engineering Program is a unique partnership between UMSL and Washington University in St. Louis, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2013. To date more than 600 students have graduated from the program with 95% of graduates either employed or pursuing a graduate degree. For over 20 years, the program has strived to excite and nurture the intellectual, technical, professional and personal development of students through this partnership which provides a mechanism for UMSL students to share the resources and personnel of Washington University during their upper-division engineering courses.

UMSL also provides opportunities that enhance the academic experience for students such as participating in co-ops, internships and employment. These opportunities are often funded through annual and scholarship support from alumni, business and industry and friends.
