Giving Societies

UMSL’s four giving societies honor donors through recognition and special events each year.

Auguste Chouteau Society
The Auguste Chouteau Society honors individuals and organizations that have made gifts totaling $100,000 or more. In recognition of these donors’ significant impact, membership in the society is permanent.

Pierre Laclede Society
The Pierre Laclede Society honors donors who assist UMSL in achieving its mission of offering a quality, affordable public education through yearly support. Membership begins with gifts of $1,000 per year.

1963 Society
The 1963 Society recognizes alumni and friends who have invested in the university's future through their planned gifts. The society’s name honors the year of UMSL’s founding.

Women's Giving Circle
The University of Missouri-St. Louis Women’s Giving Circle raises awareness for and supports the university’s programs that educate women to become effective leaders, and provide them with the skills necessary to succeed in their careers, their communities and beyond.
