One of the Office of Advancement's most important functions is to keep alumni and supporters connected to UMSL and to each other. Consequently, UMSL Advancement compiles both public and private information about alumni and supporters. This notice is to inform you of how UMSL Advancement uses the information it collects and how you can limit that use.

USML Advancement collects information about alumni and supporters from various sources:
  • Information alumni and supporters send UMSL Advancement, whether through correspondence, applications, email, surveys, etc.
  • Information UMSL Advancement receives from its affiliates
  • Information UMSL Advancement receives from alumni records, which is a matter of public record
UMSL Advancement's database is for the sole use of UMSL. It does not sell, rent, or trade alumni and supporter information with any organization that isn't directly affiliated with UMSL.
